An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Position Overview:
  • A Furniture Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining woodworking and furniture-production machines to manufacture high-quality furniture components.
  • The operator ensures that all machines function efficiently, safely, and according to production specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate woodworking machinery such as cutting, drilling, sanding, shaping, and finishing machines used in furniture production.
  • Read and interpret production drawings, measurements, and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
  • Set up machines, adjust controls, and monitor operations to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and report any mechanical faults promptly.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and ensure proper use of protective equipment.
Requirements:
  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with years of work experience.
Required Skills:
  • Basic technical knowledge of woodworking or furniture production machinery.
  • Ability to read measurements and technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to machine operation.
