Role Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Officer responsible for coordinating, executing, and monitoring all logistics and vehicle-related activities. This position ensures timely delivery of goods, cost-effective fleet operations, and compliance with safety and maintenance standards across all locations.

The role ensures efficient use of company vehicles, proper documentation of movement, and protection of company assets to support seamless operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods among offices and branches
• Monitor and track delivery movements to ensure efficient and punctual service
• Maintain documentation and delivery records for accountability and tracking purposes
• Optimize utilization of company vehicles and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting findings
• Ensure compliance with scheduled vehicle maintenance, including servicing and repairs
• Liaise with approved vendors and workshops for timely maintenance and repairs
• Track service quality and costs to ensure value for money
• Adhere to company transport policies and local regulations
• Promptly report incidents, infractions, or accidents to management

Requirements

• A good first degree or equivalent qualification
• 3 years' hands-on experience in a similar role within a dynamic, fast-paced professional environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel to offices and events as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centered approach
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and deliver high-quality service under pressure
