Logistics Field Officer (Logistics & Shipping)

Position Overview

The Logistics Field Officer is responsible for coordinating container movements, supervising warehouse stuffing activities, and ensuring smooth operational processes between depots, shipping lines, terminals, and ports.

This role requires close monitoring of container logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery while maintaining compliance with company and port regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up empty containers from designated depots or terminals
• Coordinate and supervise container stuffing operations at warehouses
• Visit shipping lines, terminals, and ports for operational follow-up when required
• Ensure timely delivery, return, and proper handling of containers
• Liaise with warehouse staff, transporters, shipping line representatives, and port officials
• Track container movement and provide regular status updates to the operations team
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, port regulations, and safety standards
• Perform other assigned field logistics duties as required

Required Qualifications and Experience

• OND/HND in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, clearing & forwarding, or port operations
• Familiarity with port and terminal operations (an added advantage)
