About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven individual to lead our new Groupage Logistics business unit. As Logistics Business Manager, you will be the strategic head of this division, responsible for establishing, scaling, and managing all aspects of the operation from client acquisition to final delivery in Nigeria.

Business Overview

Our Groupage Logistics Business provides seamless, cost-effective shipping solutions for Nigerian importers of business items and individuals residing abroad who wish to ship personal, domestic, or business goods back to Nigeria. Our core service involves grouping shipments from multiple clients into single containers for efficient importation, where one single shipment cannot fill a container.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract and secure Nigerians, businesses, and organizations importing from abroad who require groupage shipping services to Nigeria
• Actively source and build strong, long-term relationships with clients and agents abroad, serving as the primary point of contact for all groupage logistics needs
• Achieve aggressive targets for container volume and shipment frequency

Marketing & Team Management

• Manage and direct a team of Marketing Officers/Agents, providing training, targets, and support to maximize client sourcing efforts
• Oversee marketing and communication strategies targeting the Nigerian diaspora

Operational Management

• Oversee the entire logistics chain: consolidation/packing, international freight booking, customs clearance, and final delivery/pick-up in Nigeria
• Ensure strict adherence to all international and Nigerian customs regulations and shipping protocols
• Manage budgets and operational costs
