Logistics Business Manager at Iknorbert Communications Limited

About the Role

Iknorbert Communications Limited is launching a new Groupage Logistics Business and seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven individual to lead this business unit as Logistics Business Manager. You will be the strategic head of the Groupage Logistics unit, responsible for establishing, scaling, and managing all aspects of the operation from client acquisition to final delivery in Nigeria. Our core service involves grouping shipments from multiple clients into single containers for efficient importation, providing seamless, cost-effective shipping solutions for Nigerian importers and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract and secure Nigerian businesses and organizations importing from abroad who require groupage shipping services to Nigeria
• Actively source and build strong, long-term relationships with clients and agents abroad, serving as the primary point of contact for all groupage logistics needs
• Achieve aggressive targets for container volume and shipment frequency

Marketing & Team Management

• Manage and direct a team of Marketing Officers and Agents, providing training, targets, and support to maximize client sourcing efforts
• Oversee marketing and communication strategies targeting the Nigerian diaspora

Operational Management

• Oversee the entire logistics chain including consolidation, packing, international freight booking, customs clearance, and final delivery or pick-up in Nigeria
• Ensure strict adherence to all international and Nigerian customs regulations and shipping protocols
