Loan Recovery Agent at Renda Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and result-oriented Loan Recovery Agent to support the timely repayment of loans, enforce agreed repayment terms, and aid recovery efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, persistence, a commitment to maintaining professionalism while driving results, and field recovery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with loan beneficiaries to recover outstanding loan repayments in the field
• Educate beneficiaries on repayment terms, timelines, and the implications of default
• Negotiate and document revised payment plans where necessary
• Maintain accurate logs of repayment efforts and report daily activities
• Escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts following internal recovery protocols
• Collaborate with the finance, risk, and VAS teams to reconcile account statuses
• Ensure all recovery efforts comply with company policies and regulatory standards

Key Performance Indicators

• Loan recovery rate (%)
• Repayment promise-to-actual conversion rate
• Number of successful recoveries per period
• Accuracy and timeliness of recovery reports
• Compliance with escalation and documentation procedures

Required Qualifications & Experience

• HND qualification
• 2–3 years of experience in loan collection and debt recovery
• Strong field collections and recovery experience
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and persistence
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with basic reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel)
• Fluency in English (local language proficiency is an added advantage)
