Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site Loan Officer role based in Nigeria.
- The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, conducting financial analyses, and assessing creditworthiness.
- Duties include processing loan applications, guiding clients through the loan process, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- The Loan Officer will also provide financial advice to clients, maintain relationships with customers, and contribute to portfolio growth and effective loan recovery.
- Strong skills in Financial Analysis, Loan Processing, and Credit Assessment
- Excellent Communication, Customer Service, and Relationship Management abilities
- Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, and Organizational Skills
- Proficiency in Financial Data Entry, Reporting, and Loan Management Systems
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the banking industry
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Prior experience in microfinancing or the banking/financial sector is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
