Loan Marketing Officer at Ultraviolet Microfinance Bank

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team in a dynamic loan marketing position.

Key Responsibilities

• Market the bank's loan products to individuals, SMEs, cooperatives, and groups
• Identify and onboard new clients through field visits, referrals, and community outreach
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Educate clients on loan products, terms, conditions, and repayment obligations
• Receive and review loan applications in line with bank policies
• Conduct client interviews, business assessments, and cash flow analysis
• Carry out Know Your Customer (KYC) and creditworthiness checks
• Prepare credit appraisal reports and submit recommendations for approval
• Facilitate timely loan disbursement after approval
• Monitor loan utilization to ensure funds are used for approved purposes
• Conduct regular field visits to assess business performance and loan repayment capacity
• Ensure timely loan repayments and maintain high portfolio quality
• Follow up on overdue accounts and implement recovery strategies
• Manage delinquent loans and participate in recovery actions where necessary
• Maintain accurate loan records and client documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve client complaints professionally
• Advise clients on suitable financial products based on their needs
• Cross-sell other bank products such as savings and deposits
