About This Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Librarian I.

Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

• Ph.D. Degree holder (or equivalent) in area of specialization who has served as Lecturer II for minimum three (3) years, with admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal, plus minimum five (5) publications
• Master's Degree holder who has served as Lecturer II for minimum three (3) years, with admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points, citation not less than five (5), and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal, plus minimum six (6) publications
• Current, up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies with minimum six (6) publications
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation not less than five (5)

Rank Placement

Successful applicants entering a teaching appointment at the University for the first time will be placed at not more than the rank of Lecturer I.
