A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Draft and review contracts, recommending necessary amendments.
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinions.
- Liaise With regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Represent the company in court and liaise with external solicitors.
- Gather and organize evidence for court cases.
- Resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution when required.
- Handle legal correspondence and general legal matters.
- 'Support due diligence and document compilation.
- Maintain confidential client files (electronic and hard copy).
- organize board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
- provide administrative and scheduling support to the Legal Department.
- perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Legal Services
- Bachelor Of Laws (LLB)
- Called to the Nigerian Bar
- 5—10 years of relevant experience in legal, corporate governance, or company secretarial roles raining in Corporate Governance and Compliance
- Strong skills in legal drafting, research, and litigation
- Knowledge Of Nigerian Law and legal documentation management
