Legal Lead at Redeemers Health Village

About the Role

Redeemer's Health Village Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Legal Lead to oversee all legal and regulatory matters of the hospital. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in ensuring compliance, mitigating legal risks, and providing sound legal advice to support hospital operations and governance.

Location

Redemption City / Mowe, Ogun, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory services to hospital management and the Board
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, service agreements, and vendor agreements
• Manage litigation, disputes, and liaise with external legal counsel
• Oversee corporate governance, policy development, and regulatory filings
• Advise on risk management, data protection, and patient confidentiality matters
• Support HR on employment-related legal issues and disciplinary processes

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B); BL required
• Minimum of 2–5 years post-call experience, preferably in healthcare or corporate law
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance framework
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple legal matters with minimal supervision
• High ethical standards and strong attention to detail
