## Title: Legal Counsel

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join their team. In this role, you will represent clients in civil and commercial litigation matters and provide strategic legal guidance across a range of legal services.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation matters, including trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
Conduct legal research, analyze case law and statutes, and provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients
Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings
Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution solutions when appropriate
Support staff to ensure effective case management and client representation
Maintain accurate and organized case files, documents, and correspondence

Requirements

2 - 7 years of practice experience
Efficient drafting and advocacy skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong research skills with familiarity with legal libraries and legal software
Due diligence, discipline, and a positive work attitude
Litigation experience and ability to perform tasks under minimal supervision
