Requirements

For Ph.D. Degree Holders:

• Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in Software Engineering or related area of specialization
• Minimum three (3) years of service as Lecturer II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of five (5) publications

For Master's Degree Holders:

• Master's Degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Minimum three (3) years of service as Lecturer II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum of six (6) publications
• Citation record of not less than five (5)
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Additional Requirements

• Current, active membership in recognized professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visibility on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation record of not less than five (5)
• For first-time appointees to the University, entry is limited to the rank of Lecturer I
