Federal University Oye-Ekiti invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer I in Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or Fellowship in Medicine
• Three years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Minimum of 25 points in admissible publications
• Minimum of 45 points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of 5 publications
• Registration with appropriate professional council (MDCN for Medicine or VCN for Veterinary Medicine)

Pathway 2: Master Degree Holders

• Master Degree qualification
• Three years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Minimum of 30 points in admissible publications
• Minimum of 5 citations
• Minimum of 45 points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of 6 publications

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum of 2 points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visible academic profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with minimum of 5 citations
• First-time appointees to the University will enter at no higher than Lecturer I rank
