About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer I in Mass Communication.

Requirements

Academic Qualification (Choose One):

• Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the area of specialization, with a minimum of three (3) years as Lecturer II, admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points, and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years as Lecturer II, admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points, citation not less than five (5), and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Professional Requirements:

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum of five (5) publications (for Ph.D. holders)
• Minimum of six (6) publications (for Master's Degree holders)
• Minimum of two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visible presence on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation count of not less than five (5)

Entry Level Note:

First-time appointees to teaching positions in the University will enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I.
