Qualifications – Option A (PhD Holders)

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, or Veterinary Medicine
• Registration with MDCN (Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria) or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)
• Minimum three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Minimum five (5) admissible publications
• Publication points not less than twenty-five (25)
• Job Appraisal score not less than forty-five (45) points
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate
• Minimum citation count of five (5)

Qualifications – Option B (Master's Degree Holders)

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Minimum six (6) admissible publications
• Publication points not less than thirty (30)
• Citation count not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score not less than forty-five (45) points
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• First-time appointees to the University will enter at Lecturer I rank or below
