About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is seeking a qualified academic professional to join its dynamic team as a Lecturer I in Criminology and Security Studies.

Qualifications Required

For Ph.D. Holders:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent)
• Minimum three (3) years experience at Lecturer II/Librarian II level
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum five (5) publications
• Job Appraisal score of at least forty-five (45) points

For Master's Degree Holders:

• Master's degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience at Lecturer II/Librarian II level
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum six (6) publications
• Citation record of not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of at least forty-five (45) points

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visibility on academic platforms (Google Scholar or ResearchGate) with citation record of not less than five (5)

CONUASS 4

First-time appointees to the University may enter at no higher than the rank of Lecturer I.
