Requirements

Academic Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification, OR
• Master's Degree

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years at Lecturer II/Librarian II rank

Publications and Research Output:

• Ph.D. holders: minimum twenty-five (25) points in admissible publications and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Master's degree holders: minimum thirty (30) points in admissible publications, citation not less than five (5), and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of five (5) publications for Ph.D. holders
• Minimum of six (6) publications for Master's degree holders

Professional Requirements:

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with minimum citation count of five (5)
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility

Additional Information:

• Candidates taking up a teaching appointment at the University for the first time may enter at not more than the rank of Lecturer I
