Lab Technicians - Linkup Human Capital, Abuja

We are seeking competent and detail-oriented professionals to join our Quality Control Laboratory team for ongoing road and building construction projects. Successful candidates will support laboratory and field-testing activities in compliance with international standards. Position Overview: The Lab Technician will conduct laboratory and field testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt materials in accordance with international standards while ensuring accuracy, safety, and proper documentation. Key Responsibilities: Field Testing

• Conduct in-situ density tests (Sand Replacement Method / Nuclear Density Gauge).

• Perform core drilling for asphalt and concrete evaluation.

• Conduct Plate Load Tests.

• Support compaction control and site quality inspections.

Laboratory Testing

• Perform soil tests (Proctor, CBR, Atterberg Limits, sieve analysis).

• Conduct concrete testing (slump test, cube casting, compressive strength).

• Carry out asphalt testing (Marshall Stability, extraction, bitumen content).

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, BS/EN, or relevant international standards.

• Maintain precision measurement standards and safety protocols.

• Record and report accurate test results.

Requirements: – Lab Technician

• OND/HND in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in construction materials testing.

• Hands-on experience in field and laboratory testing.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and precision measurement practices.

• Basic proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for reporting).
