About the Role

Chrisvirgy Homes is seeking a qualified Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will support our kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe cooking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs during meal preparation by fetching ingredients, stirring sauces, and plating dishes
• Perform food preparation tasks including washing, chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients
• Manage inventory by assisting with stock rotation, checking expiration dates, and reporting low stock levels
• Maintain workstations by ensuring they are clean, organized, and well-stocked for efficient workflow
• Help unload and store food supplies, ensuring proper storage and organization
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing utensils
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe cooking environment

Required Qualifications & Experience

• SSCE qualification
• 2-5 years of experience in a kitchen environment
