Junior & Senior Biomedical Engineer at Quantum Medical Solutions (OMS),

Position Overview

We are seeking passionate, skilled, and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team. The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive management of medical equipment, ensuring reliability, compliance, and safety through meticulous planning, execution, and documentation of all engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) work orders using approved calibrated test equipment and standardized checklists, ensuring all work meets internal quality guidelines and customer expectations
• Conduct scheduled equipment inspections according to defined protocols and checklists
• Attend to all breakdown and emergency service calls within the stipulated contract response times and proactively manage pending service requests
• Coordinate with external vendors, witness their services, and ensure proper sign-off on reports
• Maintain meticulous records of all service activities and communicate updates to management
• Perform acceptance testing for new or serviced equipment, ensuring compliance with clinic requirements, company standards, and all relevant statutory regulations

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in biomedical engineering, including preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and equipment inspection
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and service documentation systems
• Strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards in the healthcare technology field
