Junior Civil Engineer – Ibadan at Helean Global Limited

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to support civil construction projects in a dynamic engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervision of civil construction of buildings, equipment foundations, silos, tanks, utility structures, roads, drains, and landscaping
• Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, and coordinate with consultants for modifications
• Support Chief Engineer in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material requirements, and ensure quality control of construction materials (concrete, steel, etc.)
• Monitor contractor performance, labor management, and daily site progress
• Ensure civil works are completed as per engineering standards and project timelines
• Maintain site documentation, daily reports, and progress records
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards on site
• Assist in vendor and contractor evaluation and certification

Requirements

• 1–3 years' experience in civil project execution in process industries
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Knowledge of structural design, RCC, steel structures, foundation works, and industrial buildings
