About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and driven Junior Business Development Officer to join our team at AjoCard Limited. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, financial innovation, and strategic partnerships. You will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and supporting the execution of business expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the company's growth and expansion strategy
- Identify and research new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets
- Assist in lead generation, client onboarding, and relationship management
- Maintain accurate records of sales, prospects, and partnership pipelines using CRM tools
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align business goals with campaigns and product offerings
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitch materials for potential clients and investors
- Participate in meetings, demos, and industry events to promote the company's products and services
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations (preferably in fintech, tech, or financial services)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
- A genuine interest in fintech innovation and digital financial solutions
