Junior Accountant at Jeroid Ltd

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our growing fintech team in Yaba. You will support accounting operations for a company specializing in cryptocurrency trading, gift card redemption, and digital payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
• Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank statements, invoices, and expenses
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Generate financial reports to provide insights to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic accounting functions
• Familiarity with accounting software and bookkeeping principles
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Proximity to Yaba is an added advantage
