IT Support Officer (Network Support Engineer) at Elevated HR Limited

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Officer (Network Support Engineer) to provide technical support and maintenance for our network infrastructure. You will ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in network administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrated ability to manage complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, slow performance, and security breaches
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software
• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to prevent downtime
• Provide technical support and guidance to users, either in person or remotely, to resolve network-related issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry regulations
• Work collaboratively with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and implement new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications
• At least 3 years of experience in network administration, support, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network architectures (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
