IT Support Officer (Hardware & Software)

Position Overview

Risk Control Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable IT Support Officer with strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate must be technically sound, proactive, and capable of supporting business applications including collaboration tools and productivity software.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Diagnose and repair hardware faults and replace defective components
• Install and troubleshoot operating systems and business applications
• Provide support for Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office applications
• Resolve user technical issues promptly through onsite and remote support
• Assist with Wi-Fi setup and basic network troubleshooting
• Maintain IT inventory and ensure proper documentation
• Ensure antivirus systems and data backups are properly managed

Requirements

• OND, HND, or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Good working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools
• Basic knowledge of networking and internet configuration
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
