IT Support Intern (NYSC) at Updeal Resources

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to join our IT Support team as an intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure while supporting our IT Manager and contributing to the technical needs of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT Manager in installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, software, and peripherals
• Provide basic technical support to clients for hardware, software, and network issues
• Help maintain IT assets, including tracking hardware, software, and licenses for clients
• Support the IT Manager in monitoring network performance and reporting connectivity or system issues
• Learn and follow IT policies, procedures, and security standards
• Ensure a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers

Required Qualifications

• OND/HND qualification or B.Sc Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT tools
• Hands-on network engineering experience and basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interest in IT with a continuous learning mindset and willingness to contribute to various IT functions
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with users, vendors, and other IT personnel
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
