About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of IT Administrator & Web Designer at Bedmate Furniture.

Web Design Responsibilities

• Redesign, edit, and upload graphics and content to the website
• Develop the layout and overall aesthetic of the website
• Create graphic and media assets using Photoshop, Flash, and other media applications
• Program in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Write and edit website content
• Integrate graphics, applications (such as retail checkout tools), and other content into the site layout
• Use graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create visual designs and marry them with coding for online implementation
• Provide concepts and ideas for website design planning
• Modify current web graphics, software packages, and formulate programming code
• Manage site appearance by strategically placing links, action buttons, text, and images
• Determine appropriate backgrounds, color schemes, and other visual elements
• Direct visitors to relevant sections of the website through clear categorization and easy navigation
• Collaborate with graphic professionals and copywriters to generate and modify graphical and textual website content
• Perform regular site maintenance, update content, and implement appropriate display modules

IT Administration Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Respond promptly to service issues and technical requests
• Provide technical support across the company
• Set up accounts for new users
• Repair and replace equipment as necessary
• Test new technology
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
