Inverter Installation, Maintenance & Commissioning Supervisor

About the Role

This is a hands-on technical leadership position. You will work on-site to install, commission, and troubleshoot inverter systems yourself, while leading and managing local installation technicians. You will take full responsibility for inverter installation quality, commissioning, and after-sales technical performance. This is not a desk-only engineering role.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Installation, Commissioning & Troubleshooting

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair off-grid and hybrid inverter systems
• Install, commission, and maintain residential and small commercial energy storage systems
• Perform inverter parameter configuration
• Set up battery (lithium) and BMS communication
• Configure grid, generator, and PV switching logic
• Conduct system stability and load testing
• Diagnose and resolve inverter alarms and faults
• Troubleshoot communication errors and wiring mismatches
• Identify and resolve power loss and system instability issues

Installation Team Supervision

• Lead and supervise local inverter installation engineers, technicians, and electricians
• Implement and enforce installation SOPs and commissioning procedures
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards
• Verify installation quality, including proper wiring, cable sizing, grounding, and protection
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional installation standards

Technical Support & Customer Interface

• Provide on-site technical support to customers and sales teams
• Explain system operation and usage clearly to clients
• Handle technical after-sales issues and improve customer satisfaction
• Support internal and partner installer technical training

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and organize commissioning reports
• Document fault analysis and maintenance reports
• Prepare project handover documentation
• Provide technical feedback on common field issues, installation improvements, and product performance

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with off-grid and hybrid inverter systems
• Strong experience with lithium battery systems
