## Title: Internal Control Officer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Beyond Credit Limited in Lagos, Nigeria as an Internal Control Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily call-over of transactions
  • Carry out spot checks and cash counts
  • Review petty cash for budgetary control
  • Confirm and review all branch purchases
  • Perform periodic sampling and full audits of Loan Officers
  • Review KYC compliance for all new customer registrations daily
  • Review loan disbursements, closures, and savings withdrawals on a daily basis
  • Prepare monitoring and inspection reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Economics, or other numerate disciplines
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proximity to the office location (Ikeja) is essential
