Instrumentation and Controls Engineer III at Habrams Energy

Position Overview

You will provide technical expertise, support system maintenance and upgrades, and ensure effective communication between project teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management of control systems, including upgrades, testing, and cybersecurity compliance
• Support maintenance planning for metering and safety systems
• Review and update instrumentation documents such as P&IDs, control narratives, and cause-and-effect diagrams
• Ensure systems comply with Industrial Control System Requirements (ICSR)
• Participate in alarm management and rationalization efforts
• Provide onsite technical support and contribute to global system initiatives

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and safety standards
• Proficiency with P&IDs, logic diagrams, and control narratives
• Experience with data analysis tools (SAP, Excel Analytics, Tableau)
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in dynamic environments
