Information and Communication Assistant (Reopened) at Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF)

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Information and Communication Assistant at Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF).

This assistant will be responsible for all information and communication management related to the Programme. The role involves collating and documenting human-interest stories, photos, programme MOVs, and other essential information and communication materials. The assistant will organize and present project deliverables in a clear manner that highlights the Programme's achievements. These documented outputs will be used to effectively communicate progress and results to donors, ensuring transparency and demonstrating the impact of the Programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to media, digital, and communication development as part of advocacy initiatives across all programs
• Support media and communication efforts on advocacy issues and identify advocacy and communication challenges related to LPF's work in Nigeria in collaboration with relevant program staff
• Support Program Officers in building networks to carry out advocacy on livelihoods, market access, and right to be heard issues in Nigeria
• Assist in designing and producing training and educational materials on media and communication for marketing the LPF program
• Develop work plans, individual development plans, and regular reports to the Program/Operation Manager
• Support team and program partners in media and communications-related capacity building and ensure integration within the program
• Assist in identifying potential new strategic media partners for LPF and developing strategies for working with them
• Support LPF staff and partners in communicating relevant messages to target audiences within and outside the organization on major activities
• Assist in developing and sustaining relationships with media and civil society groups in Nigeria to support LPF's advocacy work
• Ensure adequate media coverage for all program activities, functions, and press releases
