Import Officer at May & Baker

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Import Officer at May & Baker Nigeria Plc, based in Lagos.

The Import Officer will be responsible for ensuring strategic sourcing and procurement of imported direct and indirect materials, finished goods, machines, equipment, and accessories in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the sourcing and procurement of imported materials and goods
• Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of equipment and accessories
• Oversee import logistics and documentation processes
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors
• Ensure compliance with import regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• In-depth knowledge of importation processes and procurement practices
