This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. Import Planning & Coordination

• Plan and coordinate the importation of raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, packaging materials, machinery, and spare parts.

• Ensure timely availability of imported materials to support uninterrupted production.

Regulatory & Compliance Management

• Ensure all imports comply with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, customs laws, and international trade regulations.

• Coordinate with regulatory authorities for import permits, product clearances, and approvals.

Documentation & Customs Clearance

• Prepare, review, and manage import documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of analysis (CoA), certificates of origin, MSDS, and shipping documents.

• Liaise with customs agents to ensure smooth and timely clearance of pharmaceutical consignments.

Supplier & Freight Management

• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.

• Negotiate shipping terms, freight rates, and delivery schedules.

Quality & GMP Coordination

• Ensure imported materials meet approved quality specifications and GMP requirements.

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control for inspection, sampling, and release of imported materials.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor import costs, duties, taxes, and logistics expenses.

• Ensure accurate inventory records and cost optimization in line with company budgets.

Risk Management & Problem Resolution

• Identify and manage risks related to delays, shortages, damage, or non-compliance.

• Resolve import-related issues such as shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, or regulatory holds.
