About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICT Teacher to join our team at Taqwa Private Schools. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The ICT Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to primary school pupils in line with the Nigerian/Lagos State curriculum. You will integrate Islamic values into teaching practices, foster digital literacy, and ensure pupils develop essential computer skills to thrive in a modern, technology-driven world.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Lagos State curriculum
• Teach pupils basic computer operations, typing, coding fundamentals, and safe internet use
• Integrate Islamic values into ICT teaching, emphasizing discipline and responsible digital behavior
• Maintain ICT lab equipment and ensure a safe, effective learning environment
• Assess pupils' progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ICT into other subjects and school activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ICT Education, or related field
• Teaching qualification (TRCN certification preferred)
• Experience teaching ICT at primary school level
• Strong knowledge of Lagos State ICT curriculum
• Commitment to Islamic values and child-centered learning
