About the Role

Gonzaga Jesuit College is seeking a qualified and versatile ICT Teacher who will combine classroom instruction with technical support responsibilities. The successful candidate will teach ICT across relevant grade levels while supporting the College's ICT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations of digital systems, networks, and equipment.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum and Jesuit educational philosophy
• Teach practical computer skills, including programming, networking, and digital literacy
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
• Guide students in hands-on ICT projects and laboratory work

ICT Support Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for staff and students on ICT-related issues
• Assist in maintaining the school's ICT infrastructure (networks, hardware, software, and digital platforms)
• Support the integration of ICT into teaching and learning across subjects
• Collaborate with the ICT team to ensure smooth operation of digital systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ICT, or related field
• Proven teaching experience in ICT at the secondary school level
• Experience as a WAEC examiner (mandatory)
• Strong technical skills in ICT systems, troubleshooting, and digital tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent teaching qualification
