Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Female Human Resources Officer to join our team in the Hospital & Health Care industry. As a Human Resources Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources functions of our organization by ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment of clinical and non-clinical staff
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems
- Track probation periods and performance reviews
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness
- Handle employee grievances and escalate complex issues to the Hospital Administrator
- Promote a positive work environment and staff engagement
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements
- Support audits and inspections related to HR matters
- Liaise with the finance department on payroll inputs
- Administer employee benefits and leave management
- Prepare monthly HR reports for management review
- Track HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and training hours
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
