Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all core HR departmental functions and provide strategic direction to our growing organization. You will manage payroll, employee relations, HR administration, learning and development, internal recruitment, and employee engagement while maintaining and improving HR systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all core HR departmental areas including payroll, employee relations, HR administration, learning and development, internal recruitment, employee engagement, and HR systems
- Provide advice and direction to the HR team on work priorities, budget allocation, staff resources, strategic planning, policy development, organizational structure, and staff management
- Ensure current regulatory compliance, including professional standards, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation (data protection, Equality Act, health and safety)
- Implement and manage employment policies across the organization
- Ensure employment law, HR policy, best practice, and workforce development are consistently applied
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure professionalism and expedite employee settling-in periods
- Execute the HR Strategy and manage its implementation to achieve organizational objectives
- Support HR staff to ensure all relevant professional standards are met
- Continuously improve engagement and welfare activities to maximize productivity
- Devolve HR responsibilities to line managers and build leadership capability
- Identify HR trends and direct resources to address key issues
Education and Experience
- BSc or HND in Business or Social Sciences
- Minimum 6 years of work experience
- Minimum 2 years as an Administrative or Human Resources Manager in a fast-growing organization
- Member of CIPM
