About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Human Resources Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies across the organization, with a focus on building strong team structures, improving retention, and ensuring smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Formalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job descriptions across all departments
- Oversee performance management, leave schedules, and training plans
- Lead recruitment and onboarding processes for logistics staff, customer service floaters, and seasonal hires
- Explore and manage staff accommodation initiatives as part of the retention strategy
- Conduct regular team check-ins and pulse surveys to assess morale and identify organizational gaps
- Manage grievance processes and team conflict resolution in collaboration with the HR advisor
- Maintain employee records and ensure statutory compliance, including pensions, HMO, and tax matters, in collaboration with the finance advisor
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in HR, ideally in an SME or startup environment
- Track record of improving team structure, morale, and retention
- Experience supporting hourly-wage workers
- Ability to work in-person 2–3 days per week minimum
- Comfort with WhatsApp-driven operations and informal team dynamics, while being proficient with HRIS tools

- 100% leave rotation completed without disruption
- Improved SOP compliance across departments
- 2+ team initiatives implemented (e.g., housing, bonuses, wellness programs)
- Reduction in team turnover or burnout incidents
