About the Role
Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) is expanding its team and seeking a dynamic Human Resources Officer to provide comprehensive administrative and human resources support for the effective delivery of HR functions and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly update the HR database, ensuring accurate and timely employee filing systems
- Advise line managers and staff on all HR matters, including performance management, HR administration, and employee relations in accordance with LPF administrative standards and local laws
- Facilitate personnel movement between operational and field offices, processing and forwarding completed requests to necessary agencies
- Actively participate in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans and develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes and support management with disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, personal data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance with local regulations
- Guide and support managers and staff on HR policies and procedures, monitoring implementation in line with internal regulations and labor law
- Execute administrative and payroll procedures under supervision of the Operations Manager, ensuring accurate collection of salary-related data (days off, unpaid leave, sick leave, overtime, etc.)
- Ensure all project staff receive proper briefing and induction
- Facilitate performance management, capacity building, and disciplinary measures as needed
