Position Overview
Reliable Steel and Plastic Industry Limited is seeking an experienced and highly organized Human Resources Officer to play a key role in supporting business operations, workforce planning, and employee development. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of hands-on experience across both administrative and strategic aspects of Human Resource Management. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative HR Functions
- Manage employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes
- Administer payroll inputs, leave management, attendance, and disciplinary records
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Handle employee relations issues and provide day-to-day HR support
Strategic HR Functions
- Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives
- Assist in performance management processes and appraisals
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee training and development programs
- Support management in talent management, succession planning, and staff engagement initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–5 years relevant HR experience covering both administrative and strategic HR functions
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) – an added advantage
- Prior experience in a manufacturing company – highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
