## Title: Human Resources Manager

About the Role

Bemil Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified Human Resources Manager to join our Lagos office. You will play a key strategic role in developing and implementing comprehensive HR initiatives while leading our HR team to support organizational growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
  • Lead the HR team in designing, planning, and executing HR programs and initiatives
  • Manage the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Develop and maintain effective recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract top talent
  • Oversee the development of job descriptions and job specifications
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues and mediate conflicts as needed
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention and engagement

Compliance and Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed
  • Update company policies to maintain legal alignment

Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems and monitor performance reviews
  • Provide constructive feedback to employees
  • Develop and lead performance improvement plans as necessary

Learning and Development

  • Identify training needs and plan training programs
  • Coordinate training initiatives across the organization
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development for all employees

Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs
  • Make recommendations for program enhancements
  • Ensure salary structures are competitive and aligned with industry standards
  • Manage monthly payroll in compliance with employment laws, considering attendance, punctuality, and absenteeism

Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making
  • Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends for senior management

Workplace Culture and Engagement

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and oversee employee engagement programs
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork within the HR department
