Position Overview
The HRBP will work closely with management and line managers to drive people strategies that support business objectives. This role oversees core HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and HR operations. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with line managers on workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding
- Coordinate performance management processes, appraisals, and feedback cycles
- Support learning and development initiatives, including training needs assessment and implementation
- Manage HR operations including employee records, confirmations, leave administration, and payroll variations
- Drive employee relations, engagement initiatives, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Nigerian Labour Laws
- Support reward, recognition, and incentive administration
- Provide periodic HR reports and ensure effective communication of management decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a retail, healthcare, or pharmacy setting
- Strong understanding of HR processes and the end-to-end HR value chain
- Working knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Must live within or close to Magodo
