Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections
• Plan safe working practices and implement necessary changes
• Maintain compliance with current health and safety legislation
• Ensure equipment is installed correctly and safely
• Write reports, bulletins, and newsletters
• Undertake risk assessments and identify potential hazards
• Determine and implement ways of reducing identified risks
• Liaise with relevant authorities on health and safety matters
• Organize and attend health and safety meetings
• Handle hazardous substances safely and ensure proper storage protocols
• Compile and analyze safety statistics
• Investigate, record, and report incidents, accidents, complaints, and cases of ill health
• Make recommendations following accidents and incidents
• Provide health and safety training courses for employees and managers
• Make presentations to groups of employees and managers
• Stay up to date with developments and best practices within the profession

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Compensation

N300,000 per month
