HSE Supervisor - Asphalt Unity Construction Limited, Lagos

A reputable construction company operating in Epe, Lagos State, is seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving health, safety, and environmental standards across our construction sites to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions

• Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and industry standards

• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training

• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents and prepare reports

• Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation

• Promote a strong safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and visitors

• Liaise with project teams, management, and regulatory authorities as required

Required Qualifications: and Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field

• Professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent)

• Minimum of 4-5 years of HSE experience in the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

• Ability to work independently and on-site

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools
