About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ibadan. As an HR & Operations Officer, you will play a key role in managing people, maintaining organizational structure, and ensuring seamless daily operations across the academy. This position offers excellent opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are up to date
- Support payroll coordination and staff attendance management
- Draft, update, and manage job descriptions and HR policies
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and staff welfare programs
- Coordinate operational tasks such as logistics, procurement, and facility management
- Ensure all departments function efficiently with proper workflow
- Collaborate with management to uphold the company's culture of excellence and accountability
- Prepare weekly HR and operations reports for leadership review
- Support planning and execution of academy events and trainings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years' experience in a similar HR or operations role, preferably within a school, tech startup, or EdTech company
- Proficiency in Human Resources Management, HR Policies, and Employee Relations
- Experience in job description development and HR documentation
- Knowledge of Nigerian employment laws and regulations
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Experience with Zoho HR tools (a plus)
