About the Role
An established company is recruiting for an HR and Admin Officer to join their team. This role focuses on managing key HR functions, measuring organizational metrics, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Engagement: Measure employee satisfaction, motivation, and commitment through surveys, feedback, and engagement indicators
- Recruitment and Selection: Monitor recruitment effectiveness and efficiency, including time-to-fill positions, quality of hires, and cost per hire
- Training and Development: Track employee participation in training programs, monitor skill development progress, and measure training impact on performance
- Employee Retention: Measure turnover rates, identify reasons for attrition, and develop retention improvement strategies
- Performance Management: Assess implementation and effectiveness of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms
- Compliance: Monitor HR and administrative compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, and internal policies
- HR Metrics: Track and analyze HR metrics such as absenteeism, time-to-hire, turnover costs, training investment, and HR-related expenses
- HR Process Efficiency: Evaluate efficiency of HR processes including onboarding, payroll administration, benefits administration, and record keeping
- Employee Relations: Measure employee satisfaction with workplace relationships, communication channels, conflict resolution, and feedback mechanisms
- Cost Management: Monitor HR and administrative costs, including budget adherence, cost per employee, and cost reduction initiatives
Requirements
- HND, BA, or BSc degree
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience
