Hotel Security Operatives

• Hotel Security Operatives are responsible for protecting guests, staff, and hotel property by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit points of the hotel

• Check visitors, vendors, and vehicles entering the premises

• Prevent unauthorized persons from accessing restricted areas

• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises (rooms floors, corridors, parking areas, etc.)

• Identify and report suspicious activities or safety hazards

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems

• Report any unusual incidents observed on camera

• Respond quickly to emergencies such as disturbances, theft, or accidents

• Provide assistance during fire alarms or evacuation procedures

• Help maintain order during events or busy periods

• Record and report all security incidents in the occurrence logbook

• Prepare written reports for management when necessary

• Prevent theft, vandalism, and damage to hotel property

• Monitor parking areas and hotel assets

• Assist during medical emergencies until professional help arrives

• Work with local security agencies or police when required

• Provide directions and assistance to guests politely

• Maintain a professional and approachable attitude

Requirements: Education: al Qualification:

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO qualification with 4 years experience.

• Security training or certification is an advantage

Physical Requirements:

• Physically fit and alert

• Ability to stand or walk for long hours

• Good eyesight and hearing ability
