## Title: HMO/Billing Officer

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented HMO/Billing Officer to manage patient billing, process HMO claims, and ensure accurate documentation and timely reconciliation of payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage patient bills (HMO, cash, and corporate)
  • Process HMO claims, pre-authorizations, and follow-ups
  • Liaise with HMOs to resolve billing and payment issues
  • Ensure accurate coding and documentation of services rendered
  • Reconcile bills, payments, and outstanding balances
  • Work closely with front desk, medical records, and clinical teams
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate billing records

Requirements & Qualifications

  • OND, HND, or BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hospital billing or HMO processing
  • Strong knowledge of HMO operations and claims management
  • Proficiency in hospital billing systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

N150,000 – N250,000 monthly
