Al-Hikmah University is seeking a qualified and passionate History and Government Teacher to deliver engaging instruction at the secondary level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in history and government, coupled with excellent teaching and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons covering world history, Nigerian history, and government topics
• Prepare and develop comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations aligned with curriculum requirements
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
• Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records
• Stay updated on developments in history and government, integrating new concepts and pedagogical methods into teaching practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in History, Government, Education, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
• Relevant teaching certifications (NCE or TRCN)
